Hydrogeological Studies

A Groundwater Sustainability Study or Hydrogeological Assessment is often required before subdivision development or land severance to evaluate groundwater conditions for drinking water, infrastructure installation, infiltration capacity, and septic system design. ASC has extensive experience conducting these assessments across Ontario, offering efficient and cost-effective support from field testing to regulatory reporting. For subdivisions, we conduct slug tests to assess groundwater infiltration for safe excavation and servicing. For land severance, we evaluate new wells to ensure water quality and quantity meet MECP standards and assess potential impacts on neighbouring wells.
